The Miami HEAT along with Miami-Dade Parks’ Disability Services recognized the Miami HEAT Wheels wheelchair basketball team for winning their first ever championship title in the Division III National Wheelchair Basketball Association during halftime of the Washington Wizards vs. Miami HEAT pre-season match up at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Special thanks to Miami HEAT, Miami-Dade Parks’ Disability Services and the American Airlines Arena staff for making this such a spectacular event and honoring us in an amazing way. We’ll hang this new banner proudly in our home court at Miami Springs Recreation Center.
